Joan Glasgow Joan was born in Texas but raised in Littleton, Colorado. She is married and has five children, eight grandchildren and one more on the way. In 1998 she and her husband, Don, decided a change was in order. He was tired of shoveling that Colorado snow, so we moved to St. George and purchased our home in Winchester Hills so that Joan could have her horse and some room to roam. He had taken an early retirement from teaching a few years earlier. After a couple years of retirement, Joan decided that a new challenge was just what she needed. She has been working closely with her son Don, who is also a realtor with St. George GMAC Real Estate, since April of 2005. She has excelled in this career, receiving the "Rookie of the Year" award from GMAC Real Estate for her first year in the business.Her clients will tell you that no one works harder for their benefit. She will get you the most money for your property in the least amount of time with the most integrity. Returning calls in prompt order and keeping you informed at all times as to what is happening with your property or your offer is at the top of her list of how clients should be treated. She believes that clients should be aware of what the "real" market price is for their home so that they won't be disappointed if their homes doesn't sell because it is priced too high. She wants her clients to know is that she doesn't set prices, the market sets prices. What you plan to do with the proceeds of the sale of a property does not determine the value of your home. Only what the market is doing, determines it's value. She believes this honesty will make happier clients in the long run.
